With the post mortem meeting yesterday, it is the end of Sheffield Malaysian Games 2015 or, #SMG15. Alhamdulillah, syukur. (Official website: http://sg.smsa.org.uk/)
Quoting Hasnan Naiem, SMSA President of 14/15 session, "The success of the event is great but our self achievements are greater." It means things we learned and obtained as we handle the event is more significant. And come to think of it, it is! That's what made the event beneficial and a memorable one. And of course, without each and every of the 40 people's contribution, we could not reach our target.
Being one of the registration officers in the team of three, I learnt to handle people of various need. Some plead to delay the payment, some even pester us to immediately confirm their registration (which I must say, an-noy-ying!). Also, I am now more capable in writing semi-formal email replies. I made not one, not two but a lot of friends! Syukur. However, I think I could still improve in delivering updates in the meetings. InsyaAllah I'll try to bring out the best of me and be more confident to talk in front of people. All in all, it was a great experience, really!
And quoting the Vice Director, Dell Hakim, "I dont want anyone to have regrets in joining this committee." and Dell, I can assure you, I have no regrets in being the committee. I mean why would I? It was a great experience, and hahaha I get to know you well pun from the meetings we had. So, NO RAGRETS bruh!
